KENTUCKY EXCEPTIONAL CHILDREN'S CONFERENCE - "KENTUCKY BARN QUILTS" WITH CO PRESENTER DALA SPARKS

Kim Soule, Artist and Dala Sparks, Speech and Language Pathologist with JCPS Louisville presented at the Kentucky Exceptional Childrens conference Nov. 25, 2024. They presented the Arts Inclusion Art Award project that they had both taught during the fall at Shacklette Elementary. All teacher participants were able to create their own example of a 2x2 barn quilt on styrofoam to take back to their own classroom! Dala shared many examples of inclusion and adaptation that was used during the project.
